Amanda Montgomery Klash founded Montgomery Klash Interior Design in 2004 and has completed projects up and down the West Coast and across the country.  Her design process has developed over the years to focus on understanding each client’s individual wishes and honoring the relationships among the team it takes to complete a successful project.

Prior to opening her own design firm, Klash worked as senior designer for Wheeler Design Group in San Francisco, a firm that specializes in residential design and destination homes.  While at WDG, Klash oversaw projects in Hawaii, Palm Desert and throughout the Bay Area. Previously, Klash designed for The Wiseman Group, an internationally renowned and award-winning residential design firm, where she learned the foundations for composing, creating and completing successful residential projects.  While at TWG, Klash was involved in projects in San Francisco, Atherton, Pebble Beach and Deer Valley, as well as the San Francisco Designer Showcase. Klash began her design career in San Francisco, California, with commercial projects throughout the financial district, including Montgomery Securities in the Transamerica building and a nightclub, the Velvet Lounge, in the famous North Beach district.

Klash is a graduate of The University of San Francisco and The Fashion Institute of Design and Merchandising.  She lives in Portland, Oregon, with her husband and daughter.
