Amanda Montgomery Klash began her design career in San Francisco, California, with commercial projects throughout the financial district and including the TransAmerica building and a nightclub in the famous North Beach district.

When she decided to pursue her passion for residential design, Amanda went to work for The Wiseman Group, an internationally renowned and award-winning design firm. There, she learned the foundations for composing, creating and completing successful projects. Amanda spent a decade in the San Francisco design industry and completed her time there as a Senior Designer with Wheeler Design Group.

Amanda has been involved with projects in Portland, Seattle, Atlanta, Palm Desert, Deer Valley (Utah), Hawaii and throughout the Bay Area. She is a graduate of the University of San Francisco and the Fashion Institute of Design and Merchandising.

Montgomery Klash Interior Design was founded in 2004, in Portland, Oregon.

 

Emma Davis has worked as a designer with Montgomery Klash Interior Design for the last year and a half, after graduating from the Academy of Art in San Francisco with a degree in Interior Architecture and Design. Her passion is for residential work of all tastes and styles. At MKID Emma heads the art department, specializing in space planning and delightful renderings of our client’s projects. She looks forward to a long career in Interior Design, and is very happy to have found a profession that is so satisfying and enjoyable.
